Calling all readers!

Book Club & Battle of the Books (BoB) be be starting Fri, Sept 5th after school

Book Club: For 3rd - 8th graders

Choose a title from the BoB lists or the book room that 2 or more members want to read and discuss

Battle of the Books (BoB): is for 4th - 8th graders

The goal is to read at least 10 books from the list of 20 books used in the NM Battle
The Battle on April 18th is optional
There is no cost to this club thanks to Ms. Trish Ann purchasing the books for the book room
You can check the books out to take home

Meet in the courtyard after school for lunch then go to Room 1 afterwards

Pickup is at the front door at 2pm

We are looking for volunteers who would like to lead a club!

Clubs provide the opportunity for students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and build friendships.

In the past we have had board game, pickleball, chess, and robotics clubs. If anyone has an idea for a new club, we are happy to try it out!

Requirements:

Will need to find a teacher sponsor who's classroom they will use and works with the club minimally
The club volunteer will need to get an unsupervised volunteer badge from APS before they can start working with children unsupervised
