Zombie Fun Run

The Zombie Fun Run fundraiser will take place after school at Montgomery Park on Friday, October 29. This is a great chance to support your school while having some creeeeepy fun!

Donations beyond the $12 minimum cost covering materials for the race will be greatly appreciated - funds raised by this event will be used to purchase and install additional shade structures at the playground and pick-up/drop-off areas along the West courtyard.

The FTO believes that no child should be denied participation for financial reasons. Please contact us at dwfs.fto@gmail.com if financial constraints would prevent you from registering. The event is limited to only DWFS students.

UPDATE: ALL students must be picked up from school by a parent/guardian/responsible adult and taken to the park, and those same adults are responsible for the students for the duration of the event. We simply don't have enough people to both staff the two courses and keep track of all the students.

Race registration is $12 and will cover the cost of flags, obstacles, etc.

We'll have two courses:

  • Zombie Course, where students will wear flag football flags and teachers dressed like zombies will pull the students' flags to "infect" them.

  • Fun Run course, where students will run through the course without any flags or zombies

Both courses will have several obstacles for students to complete as they run the course.
